ObituaryJul 27, 2005  OBITUARY: Frederick Whitfield Black, Jr., age 90, of Boyertown, Pa., died Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Chestnut Knoll Nursing Home, of natural causes. Married to Dora (Braham) Black for 61 years. Born on April 12, 1915, he was the son of the late Frederick W., Sr. and Emily (Euler) Black.

Frederick received his B.S. at University of Richmond, and M.B.A. at University of Harvard in 1938. He was an Internal Auditor for U.S. Steel Corp., Fairless Hills, Pa. and an Internal Auditor for the State of New Jersey, tax division, in Trenton, N.J. He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Yardley.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Dora (Braham) Black of Boyertown; son, Richard H. Black and wife Francine, of Barto; and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Black; grandchildren Tamara Black Stetka, of Emmaus, Richard W. Black, of Barto, Craig K. Black, of Seattle, Wa., Michelle Black Shea of Haverhill, Mass; great-grandchildren Julian, Isabelle, Gabrielle, and Alexandra. Predeceased by son, Thomas A. Black.

Services will be a traditional burial on July 29, 2005, calling hours are from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church of Clayton. Chaplain Barry Moyer of Caring Hospice will officiate. Place of burial will be Bethany E.C. Church Cemetery.
