She was born July 30 1897 in Albemarle County. She was the daughter of Edward and Lizzie Shifflett. She was a member of Brown's Cove Methodist Church, Besides her husband. She is survived by a son Robey A Shifflett of Crozet, Five daughter's Mrs. Tim Morris, Mrs. Luther Garrison and Mrs. Raymond Thomas all of Crozet, and Mrs. Fountain and Mrs. Cecil Shiflett both of Baltimore Md. A brother Arthur C Shifflett of Boonesville,Two sisters Mrs. Beulah Holly and Mrs. Beadie Shifflett She was also preceded in death by a son Charles Wilson Shiflett. Burial will be at Mount Moriah Methodist Church.
